Healthy Meals in 30 Minutes or Less

As the holidays come to the end, you are probably getting busier with work and have less time to cook meals. While it may seem difficult to make healthy  meals when you are just swamped, it doesn’t have to be complicated! 

I’ve made a list of my top 5 meals to try this January that you can make in under 30 minutes that are healthy and satisfying!

1. Turkey Sweet Potato Skillet – 30 min

  • Sweet potatoes are high in antioxidants which can help prevent oxidative stress and disease!
  • Turkey is a great source of protein and contains Vitamin B6, which helps the body use and store energy!

2. Lemon Chicken Stir Fry – 15 min

  • Chicken is a great source of protein which helps build muscles and strengthen bones!
  • Broccoli is a great source of fiber and Vitamin C which helps protect cells, maintain healthy skin, cartilage, and helps with healing!

3. Stuffed Zucchini Boats – 30 min

  • Zucchini is loaded with fiber and Vitamin A, which is good for the eyes, the immune system, and organ function!

4. Easy Shrimp Tacos – 15 min

  • Shrimp is a great source of lean protein! Choosing lean proteins can help prevent plaque build up!

5. Salmon with Grapefruit Lentil Salad – 15 min

  • Salmon is a great source of omega 3’s which can help improve our cholesterol, reduce inflammation, boost our mood and so much more!
  • Lentils are high in fiber which is great for digestion, improving cholesterol, and stabilizing blood sugar!
